New Exhibition at the Belz Museum This Fall

MEMPHIS, Tennessee -
Cloaked in Symbolism:  Clothes and Costumes of the Ch'ing Dynasty, a new exhibition at the Belz Museum of Asian & Judaic Art, will open September 25, 2007, and run through November 6, 2007. Cloaked in Symbolism will explore the significant role of garments in imperial Chinese society. The exhibit features over thirty items from the Belz collection including Chinese theater costumes, imperial court robes, rank badges, and accessories.

The Belz Museum of Asian & Judaic Art will be open regular hours during the exhibit, and regular admission fees apply.  For more information, contact the museum at (901) 523-ARTS.
